Hello, I'm Neville; my friend Paul and I have walked 666 miles from my home in Oxfordshire to the Isle of Islay in Scotland, with several friends joining us for part of the journey.
The Miles to Malts challenge has been a personal quest which I've been thinking about for many years, but it's also been inspired by the Pennine Way Challenge that my dear late friend Susan Fletcher Watts created three years ago, when 180 of us raised over £100,000 for research into Motor Neurone Disease.
We've dedicated this walk to her memory and are raising further funds in aid of prevention and cure of MND. Thank you to all who have already donated. So please support us, and this important cause, by donating via Susan's JustGiving page here:
Follow our journey with the map and the updates below, read our blog, visit Geek's Corner for further fun facts, or see Paul's videos

Support the MNDA
MND is a surprisingly common disease, affecting 1 in 300 people. There is no cure today, and most people with MND don't live more than 3 years from diagnosis. The MNDA funds research to seek a cure, and provides vital support to sufferers and their families. Help us to raise £10,000 to add to Susan's magnificent fundraise.
Miles to Malts Playlist
Each day we'll suggest another track to add to the playlist
The final Track of the Day is Gianocchino Rossini's William Tell Overture, played by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Herbert von Karajan
At the moment you have to log into Spotify to play it - bear with us as we try to improve the user experience!
